Here for the aesthetic but the moral of the story is that no one is going to nurture your soul as well as you can.

No one is is going to be able to treat you as good as you have the possibility to treat yourself.

No one else could know what you need as well as you could sit and listen to your body, your thoughts, and your soul.

So whatever you do to feel better, or escape your negative brain, or take care of yourself——- don’t wait for someone else to come help you do it.

Because if they’re not there your soul will still need that soul food baby doll.

Go run that mile, cook that dish, put your toes in grass and feel the sun on your skin.

Brush your hair, laugh way to loud at your own jokes, sing to yourself in the elevator, do all the things your terrified of, and bit by bit- your inside energies will thank you for being true to yourself and for doing the things that seem hard at first.

Slowly you’ll start to realize that self love isn’t always loving yourself. But at least putting your own love into taking care of yourself.
